Spanning three generations and nearly 75 years, the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club welcomed its guests to enjoy the Gulf of Mexico’s morning breezes and majestic sunsets along an expansive white sand stretch of beachfront in the heart of Naples.
The Watkins family’s legendary tradition of warm hospitality now transitions to The Athens Group, a world-class developer and curator of authentic destination resorts and residences.
Through extensive research – including numerous meetings with the Watkins family, neighbors, and stakeholders in the Naples community – The Athens Group embraced a number of the existing resort’s beloved features as the foundational core of its proposed plan, including:
- Maintaining the family’s tradition of hospitality by the inclusion of a 220-room luxury hotel
- Preserving in perpetuity 104 acres of the property’s 125 acres as recreation and open space
- Maintaining the tradition of the Sunset Beach Bar and HB’s on the Gulf as gathering places for guests of all ages throughout the year.

For 70 years, The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club curated the idyllic Naples lifestyle.
The tradition lives on at Naples Beach Club.
